Meet the board

The RCTW Board of Directors is comprised of masters rowers, juniors parents, and community members united in guiding the club to achieving its vision.

Jennifer Evans

Chair

Jennifer was first introduced to rowing at Rice University, where she rowed sweep. After moving to The Woodlands, she discovered RCTW in March 2023, and now spends as much time as possible on the water. In her professional life, she is a financial analyst with the federal government.

Christian Arredondo

Vice-Chair

Christian has been a resident of The Woodlands for over a decade, is a parent of a Junior rower at RCTW, as well as a beginner rower himself. He holds both an Engineering and a Business degree and has been part of the Oil & Gas industry for over 25 years.

Charles Dixon

Secretary

Charles began rowing in the late 1980s as a member of Texas Crew at The University of Texas. Through a teammate, Charles was recommended for a job that led him to meet his wife of over 30 years. In 2004 he decided to take a Learn to Row class, which ignited his passion for sculling.

Over the years, Charles has competed in numerous rowing events, including Heart of Texas, Head of the Colorado, Head of the Oklahoma, Head of the Brazos, Masters Nationals, SWEATS, and Erg Rodeo. His journey with RCTW has included serving on the board, where I primarily held the role of Treasurer, but also served as Secretary and President. He expanded his involvement by earning US Rowing Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching certifications and has enjoyed teaching/coaching others to row.
